Finish what we start
A scope we can complete beats a scope that sounds impressive in a pitch.
INTERACTIVE352 Interactive is a small independent studio. We spent years building software for other people; now the product is ours, and the only deadline is the one the game earns.
Everything in our games is made by the same small team. That is a constraint and we treat it as one: we scope what we can actually finish, then we finish it.
Right now that is a single party game, and a party game has to land in the first forty seconds or it has not landed at all. Holding to one title is what lets us put it in front of a room often enough to find out whether it does.
A scope we can complete beats a scope that sounds impressive in a pitch.
Party games are decided in a room full of people, not in a design document.
No outsourced core. The people who design it are the people who build it.
