The betting quiz where you bet on yourself — out loud.
A voice-chat party game for 4–8 players, broadcast live from a late-80s TV studio.
Welcome to SCREW IT!, the betting quiz broadcast from a studio stuck somewhere between 1987 and 1993. You play a contestant in your own booth, in first person: a CRT on the desk, a big red button under your hand, a flip counter with your cash on it and a telephone that might ring at any moment.
A task card goes up on the monitors — “How many capital cities can you name in 30 seconds?” The table bids on how many each player claims they can name. Somebody finally hits SCREW IT! on the standing claim, and the claimant has to walk to the microphone and do it, live, on voice. Three jurors drawn at that moment count every answer, the rest of the table votes on whether it counted, and the money moves.
Nobody types. Nobody clicks a list. You talk, and other people decide whether you did it.
Between rounds there are penalty cards, a sabotage market and a producer on your desk phone with an offer you should probably refuse. Every four rounds it is Challenge Time, and every match ends in a volleyball final and an awards ceremony, presented by Mr. Static — a cheerful show with a host who knows exactly how it ends.

Raise the claim or hit SCREW IT! — then bet on the performer while they sweat at the mic.
Eight regional decks of 150 cards, every card localised — not machine-translated trivia.
Big Head, helium voice, the censor’s pixel block. A sabotage market, Double Damage, and a producer who calls your desk.
Every four rounds: hoop shots, the money booth, potato whack, air hockey and Eyeball It. Then a volleyball final and an awards ceremony.
Everything the game tells you is printed on something in the room — your CRT, the monitors, the flip counter, the phone.

Eight fuzzy contestants — each with a colour and an outfit you pick backstage — and one host. Mr. Static has a CRT for a head, a suit, and over 500 voiced lines of a man who has seen this show end badly many, many times. He is not playable. He would not want to be.
